| I am a 6'1" African American who enjoys weight lifting
and all kinds of sports and adventurous endeavors. I have brown eyes and
black hair and weigh 220 lbs. My job on the outside was in construction
(dry wall). I enjoy traveling to different places and am always open to
new things. I am a college grad with degrees in business and CAD (Computer
Aided Design). I enjoy reading books and writing. I'd like to finish the
book that I've started writing in the next two years or so. I have no family
that I am in contact with. No children and I'm not sure where my
parents are because I've never met them. I love animals but I never had
the opportunity to own a pet. My favorite things to do are chess, playing
basketball and enjoying a good conversation with an interesting person.
Some of my hopes for my future are getting out, of course, and securing
a better life for myself by making better decisions in my life. I'd like
to put my drafting skills to work and see which direction it takes me.
I was raised a Christian, but lost my faith along the way because of the
life I've lived. I'm trying to get it back, but I want to do it right.
I figured if I could leave Satan 100% in the past then serving Christ should
be no less. But I'm sure it's not going to be an over night thing. I see
myself as an intelligent, likable, and reasonable type guy. I try to have
patience when I'm pursuing my goals, but sometimes not seeing the results
quick enough can lead me to go for other options that aren't always good.
I'm tenacious in everything I pursue and sometimes I can lose focus on
the big picture in driving so hard to reach my goal. But I'm a loyal friend
and I don't give in or up on the people I care about. I try to be honest
with my feelings because I'm an emotional person, but I think it keeps
me grounded. In the past I've had trouble with trusting people and that
has made me somewhat of a loner all my life. Still. I've managed to forge
a pretty good friendship with the person who submitted my name. Right now
I'd like to find out what my purpose is on this earth and get a little
closer to God to understand how He moves in my life. So I am very open
to achieving a kind of spiritual growth. Right now I'm looking for
the people who can help me shape my life into the image God intended it
to be before I messed everything up. So I am open to anyone who can help
me get there. Over all, I'm trying to meet new people who can share their
life experiences with me, as well as mine, and in the end, develop a good
friendship. |
